I created Mrs. Jordan’s Journal to give a glimpse into our Kindergarten day. I’m hoping this will help spark conversations when parents ask their children “what did you do at school today ?”. I watch the reactions of the kindergartners in my class and try to see things as they do. I have found this to be a positive part of my afternoon, to reflect on what went really well in our day. I appreciate all of the nice comments concerning Mrs. Jordan’s Journal.

Dear Mrs. Jordan,
I am Meg Mauch’s Grandma. I live near Madison, Wisconsin and am a retired teacher (39 yrs!) in grades 1,2,or 3. Meg’s mom sent me the link to your Journal. I just wanted to let you know how wonderful it is and that my husband & I will enjoy seeing what Meg is doing at school. You must find this is so much easier than a weekly newsletter. We get to Minnesota fairly often (when I am not subbing) and plan to come visit Meg at school one day and have lunch with her. Meg LOVES school and your class. We look forward to meeting you.
